What this life looks like
You are the face of the hotel — and the heart of the guest experience. Front Office Managers lead the team that guests encounter first and last: reception, concierge, reservations, and guest relations. You set the tone for the entire guest stay, resolve complaints with grace, and ensure that from check-in to check-out, every guest interaction reflects the hotel's standards and values. It is a high-pressure, high-reward leadership role that is often the most visible in the entire hotel.
What she actually does
You manage and train the front desk, concierge, and reservations team, oversee check-in and check-out processes, manage room allocation and overbooking strategies, handle VIP guest requests and complaints, coordinate with housekeeping and other departments on room status, manage front office budgets, ensure consistent application of guest service standards, and develop your team's skills and confidence.
